Lagos is a bright, welcoming family holiday home in Trevone, just a short drive from Padstow. Our family has loved this house for over 40 years, and it has a unique, quirky charm that makes it feel instantly like a home from home. Full of character, it radiates that relaxed beach house vibe, with family at its heart.
Just 50 yards from two stunning beaches, Lagos is perfectly placed for coastal adventures. Explore the South West Coast Path, cycle along the Camel Trail, try your hand at water sports, or indulge in nearby Michelin-starred restaurants. Whether you’re here to unwind or explore, Lagos offers the perfect mix of relaxation and seaside fun.
You’ll fall in love with the spectacular location, breathtaking Atlantic views, and the effortlessly laid-back beach house atmosphere. Ideal for families, couples, or larger groups, Lagos is a seaside escape that feels like your own little world.
Guests have access to the entire house, along with the back garden. The property sits on a shared private drive with a communal lawn, and there’s plenty of free parking.
The house has 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 11 guests.
THE HOUSE
Charming Accommodation
Ground Floor
The heart of the house is the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room, complete with a cosy open fire. This is where you can cook, relax, listen to music, and soak in the stunning views of the Atlantic. Comfortable armchairs and a large dining table make it easy for everyone to gather, whether it’s for a family meal or a leisurely brunch.
The conservatory looks straight out to sea, making it the perfect spot for sunset drinks or a quiet moment with a book.
If you fancy a little downtime, the TV room offers a cosy retreat where you can catch up on your favourite shows or simply unwind after a day on the beach.
1st Floor
The first floor of Lagos consists of 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The main bedroom is spacious and features a super-king size bed with incredible sea views - waking up to the Atlantic each morning is truly something special.
Next door, a flexible single bedroom features a trundle bed that can be converted into a cosy double, also with stunning sea views - perfect for kids or couples.
Across the corridor, a bedroom with two single beds overlooks the garden, providing a peaceful spot for restful nights.
The family bathroom has an over-bath shower, sink, and WC, with an additional separate WC and sink conveniently located next door.
2nd Floor
The second floor of Lagos is full of character and charm.
The attic bedroom houses 2 single beds, one with a trundle. So can be made up as 2 or 3 singles, or in a Superking + 1 single configuration.
The upstairs bathroom has a charming iron roll-top bath, along with a sink and WC, offering a relaxing space to unwind after a day on the beach or exploring the Cornish coast.
This floor is a cosy, private haven, combining comfort with the quirky, relaxed beach house vibes that run throughout Lagos.
Outside
The pretty back garden is secluded and a wonderful suntrap.
There is a barbecue, and an outdoor shower with hot water, perfect after surfing or a day on the beach, as well as an outside toilet.
